The Down River Gunnison line of dry boxes are built the same as our bomber custom dry boxes. The only difference is that they come in four stock sizes. DRE dry boxes are built with 0.080in thick aircraft grade aluminum which results in the strongest, most durable box for its weight. No hangers are required as each box has built-in tabs that rest on the frame rails. The gasket material is a sponge steel EPDM, that will last for years and is easily replaceable when the time comes. The super beefy piano hinge is installed with sealed rivets and welded. Handles are spring loaded and have a rubber grip which makes them rattle free and comfortable to carry. DR's butterfly latches pull the lid tight against the gasket ensuring a watertight seal. Up your storage game with the Down River Gunnison Dry Box.
Down River Gunnison Dry Boxes come in four sizes each with two tab options. The dry box dimensions listed in the specs are the actual box dimensions. Add an extra 1/2in to your bay opening for our standard tabs and an extra 1.5in to your bay for our 2in Tab with 1/2in Spacer option. Choose the spacer option if you are running a flip style seat over the dry box.
